France & USA, Ca. 1930s. 5 were made by Bernard. 3 Stockinette elderly peasants with needle-sculpted faces, painted features, original costumes and 2 with labels. Rare small pair of matching French Alsacienne peasants with wonderful detail and label. Two made by Frances Diecks, ballerina in eyelet costume with label, and girl sitting in a chair knitting. All are all original, some loss to face of one larger peasant.
Condition: (Good - Excellent).
