Springfield Model 1873 with 32-5/8" round barrel with blade front sight, M73 rear sight, and 3 groove rifling. Chambered in .45-70 Government. Plain walnut stock with two barrel band setup and military style buttplate. CONDITION: Very good as refinished, with barrel bands, barrel, sights, buttplate, and trigger guard retaining most of their reapplied brown finish. Breech block is very good retaining most of its cyanide case colors overall. Metal parts show storage marks and freckling throughout. Wood is excellent as sanded and refinished with very few handling marks overall. Action works correctly. Bore is good with freckling but sharp rifling. -TN-

CORRECTION: Forend has been cut and repaired from the rear band forward. Repair is hardly noticeable.
