Molded stockinette face with painted features, rosy cheeks, original brown yarn braided hair, cloth body with tabbed arms and unique hip joints, all original “Polish” costume with embroidered weskit, striped cotton skirt, undies, socks and black cloth boots. Slip stamped “Designed by Helen Clark, Milwaukee WPA Handicraft Project Sponsored by Milwaukee County and Milwaukee State Teachers College.” Body stamped “Milwaukee WPA Handicraft Project #7040, Sponsored by Milwaukee County and Milwaukee State Teachers College". Light shelf soil on socks and blouse.
