Blade front sight with notch rear sight integral to frame. Kerr pattern rammer left over from when gun was in percussion. Cylinder has a plate that slots into rear and has firing pins incorporated. 3 groove rifling. Hammer has no spur and functions only in double action, with small tab that acts as a safety catch. Disassembly reveals no marks other than Birmingham proofs. Checkered two piece grips. Please note that there is no caliber marking anywhere on this gun and a chamber casting should be completed before firing. CONDITION: Very good. Barrel has much high polish English blue remaining with silvering at high edges and muzzle; some scattered inactive oxidation throughout. Rammer with some old oxidation. Cylinder and frame with substantially less blue than barrel but still plenty; approximately half, with balance being more oxidation. Action works appropriately, bore is very good with even oxidation throughout and visible rifling. An interesting example. EW
