Winchester Model 21 "Grand American" Grade side by side shotgun made by Winchester Repeating Arms Company circa 1950. Factory marked two barrel set with 20 gauge set marked "1" on forearm lug with matching beavertail forearm numbered to gun and marked number "1" in wood. Barrels made of "Winchester Proof Steel" with ventilated rib marked "Custom Built by Winchester" with red bead front sight and ejectors. Left barrel marked "Model 21 Winchester Trademark-20 gauge 2 -3/4" with scroll engraved pyramid at bores. Second set of barrels marked "2" on forearm lug with forearm marked "2" made from Winchester Proof Steel and marked same with same dimensions as first set of barrels except in 28 gauge. Blued frame with No. 6 engraving pattern with gold dog on each side and two birds on bottom with dog's head on trigger bow. Gun has gold plated single selective trigger and automatic safety. Walnut pistol grip figured stock with 21-B carving and carved buttstock with "Grand American" pistol grip cap. Gun does not letter and must be assumed as a possible upgrade. Comes with fitted leather faced case. CONDITION: Like new with small handling marks and dings. Good bores and mechanics with 28 gauge barrels having a little crazing in bores. Beautiful gun. DLM
