Mauser Model 1871 type bolt action rifle which may be in caliber 9.5 x 47R, but that would have to be confirmed. The only marking visible is a serial number on the bolt. Receiver has patina and freckling throughout, barrel retains 70-75% of its bluing with light freckling throughout, and trigger guard retains less than 40% of its bluing with freckling. Bore has areas of freckling present. Wood stock has a moderate number of light dings and scratches, with some checkering. Front sight can be drifted for windage, and rear sight blade is adjustable, via a screw, for elevation. Set triggers appear to function properly, and steel buttplate has a 3/4" crack near the top screw. CONDITION: Overall very good. WZ
