1890 vintage Winchester Model 1886 lever action rifle, serial number 42549. 26" octagon barrel chambered in .45-70 Government (.45-70 W.C.F.) with full length magazine tube, standard rear sight, and German silver blade front. 2 piece plain walnut stock and forearm complete with rifle forearm cap and rifle buttplate. CONDITION: Good as chemically cleaned and virtually no finish remaining with scattered pitting throughout. Stock and forearm are very good with finish added. Action works correctly. Bore is bright with sharp lands and grooves. Would make a great shooter. -TN-
