Lot consist of: (A) Colt Officers Model double action revolver. 1st Issue made in 1905. Numbers on the yolk, frame, and cylinder lock match. Serial stamped on the butt. Standard patent dates on top of the barrel. Left side of the barrel marked "OFFICERS MODEL COLT. D.A. 38". Round steel barrel with adjustable front sight and U-notch rear. Aftermarket blued finish with rampant Colt pony above the grips. Original checkered wood grips. CONDITION: Metal retains 70% of its reapplied finish with light wear and handling marks. Grips are very good, with light wear. Bore is clean with sharp rifling. Hammer is tight, cylinder shows some slight movement. Timing and lock up are fine. Light drag lines on the cylinder. Mechanically fine. (B) Colt Police Positive double action revolver. Made 1923. Standard patent dates on top of the barrel. "POLICE/POSITIVE-CAL.22" on the left side of the barrel. Serials on the yolk and frame match. Round, steel barrel with adjustable blade front sight and U-notch rear. Original, bright blue finish with rampant Colt pony on the left side of the frame. Factory hard rubber grips. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its original finish with some light handling marks and wear on the barrel and frame. Grips are solid, minus a large chunk missing the bottom rear of the right panel. Bore is sharp with crisp rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Timing and lock up are very good. Light drag lines on the cylinder. Mechanically fine. JWA
