LeFever "G" Grade side by side shotgun built by Lefever Arms Company, Syracuse, New York circa 1891. Damascus steel barrels with matted rib, bead front sight, and marked with 5 dots on frame, barrels, and forearm (no serial number). Gun is only serial numbered on tang of trigger guard. Case hardened action marked with five dots and "G" on receiver with double triggers, extractors, cocking indicators, and automatic safety. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with capped grip and Lefever logo. Extra thick bakelite buttplate. Splinter forearm with push-button release. CONDITION: 60% original remaining Damascus scene with 70% vivid case colors. Unturned screws. 60% original varnish with handling dings and marks. Good bores and mechanics. A nice early Lefever with condition. DLM
