Lot consists of: Hard bound volume "American Jewry and the Civil War, inscribed by the author and dated 1949, another 3 volume paper bound set also dated 1949. Both sets marked "Experimental Edition", books were later published and printed in 1951. Written by Bertram Wallace Korn, first Rabbi-Chaplain to be promoted to the rank of Rear Admiral in the US Navy. Included are invitations and programs pertaining to the promotion ceremony of Korn to the rank of Rear Admiral. CONDITION: 3 volume set in very good condition with moderate spine wear, single volume and documents in excellent condition. DG
