A Seth Thomas 8-day, spring-driven, octagon short drop wall clock in oak, refinished. Provenance given by tag over original paper label inside clock says: "Albuquerque Ticket Office, No. F-822". Arabic numeraled clock face says "Santa Fe Railway System Standard Dial". Face is in excellent condition with Montgomery-style numbered minute graduations. Correct spade hands are in good condition. Bottom tablet is reverse painted black with gold border and is original. Pendulum is included, but the winding key is missing. The clock has not been tested. Santa Fe Time Service dept. decommissioned and collected all mechanical clocks systemwide in the late 1960s and sold all in the early 1970s from a Topeka, KS location. This one is a very nice example.
