1925. Very rare. In the 1920s these signs were put on large pillars with caution lights on top. They were thought to look like lighthouses and were placed on the edge of towns as to make an impressive impact on people entering the area. Included on back is an envelope with a black and white photo of this sign along the road while Model Ts pass by. Boldly graphic, very rare to find, and quite impressive despite its overall restoration by David Lane over 20 years ago. Displays wonderfully.

Condition: (Excellent - Near Mint).

Item Dimensions: 60 - 1/2" x 24 - 3/4".
PORCELAIN ORANGE CRUSH LIGHTHOUSE SIGN.
