Circa 1897. A boxlock shotgun with 30" Damascus steel barrels with concave machine filed rib with 2 - 3/4" chambers, rib extension, ejectors and small brass front bead sight. Chokes are Full and Full. The guns boxlock action is nicely engraved with floral, border scroll and with pointing dogs on both sides of frame. Bottom of action is also engraved with scrolls and a duck flying through a field in vignette. Frame engraved reading "ITAHCA GUN CO." left and right just below water table. Action built with double triggers, top lever, and safe slide and is auto safe. The dark reddish brown stock with nicely checkered small pistol grip and Ithaca butt plate. Splinter forearm with ebony tip and snap release. CONDITION: Fair. Barrels retain approximately 60% of their brown Damascus coloring. Barrels are loose and ejectors are non functioning. Action and triggers are sound. Stock and forend with some handling marks. CP
