"Bullseye" model made 1939, and shipped to the Boston Police Department, being marked "B-P-D/5078" on the right side of the chamber. "MATCH/TARGET" marked on the left side of the barrel, with a bullseye in between. 2 line company address and patent dates on the barrel. "THE WOODSMAN" marked on the left side of the chamber. Standard markings on the left side of the slide. "VP" proof on the left side of the trigger guard. Guns is fitted with a Kings barrel weight, blade front sight. Rear sight looks to be factory. Original blued finish on the metal components. Later production checkered wood grips. Includes a 2 tone blued steel magazine, marked "CAL.22/COLT" on the bottom. CONDITION: Metal retains 60% of its original finish with some wear and mild scratches. Grips have a few handling marks. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine has light wear.
