Macfarlane Lang "Silver Link" biscuit tin in the form of streamline train, c. 1937. It is without wheels, though the tin is printed with the image of wheels on the sides. The sides read "LNER" and the train number is "2509". The tin is printed in black, silver and green. It is marked on the bottom "A Model of Britain's First Stream-Lined Engine, The L.N.E.R. Express Locomotive 'Silver Link'", with further writing describing the purpose, speed and dimensions of the train the tin is modeled after. Tender is embossed on top to simulate a load of coal. There are old scratches and a small dent near the chimney. There are minor scuffs on both sides.
