1881 vintage Colt Model 1878 double action revolver chambered in the classic .45 Long Colt cartridge. Blued finish decorated with non-factory vine and punch dot engraving throughout. 7 - 1/2" barrel with single line Colt address, blade front sight, v-notch rear sight, and ejector rod. Trigger guard marked on left "45 CAL". Fitted with lanyard loop and a pair of modern 2-piece checkered composite grips with rampant Colt logo. CONDITION: Good. Traces of blued finish present with balance a brown patina with some silvering. Wear to engraving heavy at places. Barrel address faint. Replacement grips very good with a few marks. Good shootable bore with mechanics a little sloppy. BAS
