Massive Circa 1970s Eastern Air Lines L-1049 Super Constellation display model. Constructed of wood, this L-1049 is painted and decaled to represent an Eastern Air Lines Super Constellation of the 1970s with classic "Hockey Stick" colors. The N-Number "N8101N" is decaled on the side of the fuselage. The model is constructed of several pieces, as the tail section was affixed to the fuselage and the wings are detachable. The 4 propellers are constructed of clear plastic in order to simulate rotation and are also detachable. This model is not accompanied by a mount but has 4 holes on the underside of the fuselage in order to accommodate a stand. There are 3 small brackets, 1 on the fuselage and 1 on each wing with remnants of wire indicating that this model was most likely hung from the ceiling. The Super Constellation measures approximately 7" tall, 47 - 1/2" long, and a n impressive 60 - 1/2" wingspan. The paint exhibits scattered cracks and chips throughout the fuselage and wings. Decals remain intact with light areas of loss. Paint has faded but remains presentable. Solid with no construction flaws. An impressive model of an L-1049 Super Constellation. Overall good.

This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made.
