DSP. Sign is Maker Marked Walker & Co., Detroit. A bright and outstanding displaying example of this Porcelain Sign from Pontiac Automobiles showing "Authorized Service". Sign features an excellent full feathered Native American graphic in the center with stars and bold script with excellent red, white & blue colors. CONDITION: Side one shows excellent color & gloss throughout the field showing a clean graphic. Side one shows two small chips at the outer left field as well as some very minimal and faint surface scratching. Side one shows one chip at the left mounting hole as well as minimal chipping at the left edge, Grade 8.75+. Side two shows excellent color & gloss in the inner field showing clean Native American and Star graphics. Side two shows chipping at the right outer field as well as areas of cloudiness in the blue porcelain in the lower field in the word, "Service". Side two shows light chipping at all four mounting holes and displays a very clean outer edge, Grade 8.25. An excellent displaying example overall of this iconic Sign from Pontiac.
