AGS CERTIFIED #10311. SSP. An outstanding displaying example of this iconic Porcelain Sign from Mobil, a scarce variation of more common examples. This miniature Porcelain Neon Sign shows glowing red neon along the outer edge with a newly made metal can at the backside. CONDITION: Sign is overall excellent with bright and glossy red porcelain showing only minimal surface wear in the field. Sign shows a couple of very minimal outer field chips with some light areas of mounting hole and neon station mount chipping present. Sign shows one small hole added at the belly of the horse and shows only a minor amount of faint edge chips. Sign displays well with neon on or off and the newly made can is painted in matching red. A beautiful example of this highly sought after piece from Mobil.
