AGS CERTIFIED #10198. DST. Sign is Maker Marked A.M. Sign Co., Lynchburg, VA & Dated 1937. An exceptionally well displaying example of this Tin Service Station Sign from Oilzum Motor Oils showing large Oswald The Driver graphic. A product of The White & Bagley Company Co., Worchester, Massachusetts. CONDITION: Side one is overall excellent showing excellent color & gloss throughout the field with minimal areas of light surface scratch as well as some scuffing at the left and right in the black that shows light color matches. The outer orange edge shows light wear with four added mounting holes that are nicely done showing no heavy wear. The far outer edge shows just minimal wear and displays well, (Score 85). Side two also shows very good color & gloss throughout with some notable surface scratches in the field showing minimal paint loss. Side two shows some green paint stains at the left in the cap as well as some scratching issues at the outer left in the black. The outer edge shows some light areas of paint and edge wear but overall side two displays nicely, (Score 81). An excellent displaying example of this highly sought after Sign from Oilzum Motor Oils.
