AGS CERTIFIED #10316. DSP. An incredibly scarce and well displaying C. 1920's Porcelain Sign fro Mobiloil showing an outstanding Race Car die cut image on each side. A product of Vacuum Oil Company LTD. CONDITION: Side one is overall very good showing excellent color & gloss throughout the majority of the field showing minor areas of brown stain marks in the white porcelain. Side one shows two inner field chips with areas of scattered edge chipping present. Side one shows light edge wear at the Race Car graphic but overall displays very clean, (Score 83). Side two also shows very good color & gloss throughout the field showing some minor brown stain in the white as well as some light areas of faint discoloration in the upper red. Side two shows two areas of chipping in the inner field with some minor chipping at the outer edges. Side two shows two chips in the Race Car graphic as well some edge chipping along the cars edge, (Score 80). An outstanding and nearly impossible to find piece of early Mobil advertising, one of the most highly sought after pieces of Mobiloil advertising.
