AGS CERTIFIED #10250. DSP. An incredibly clean example of this very scarce C. 1930's Porcelain Flange Sign for Shell Kerosene showing die-cut Scallop Shell shape with unique Shell colors. CONDITION: Side one is simply outstanding showing practically perfect color & gloss with only a minimal amount of light surface wear. Side one shows one factory nick in the "E" of Kerosene as well as some very minimal edge wear, (Score 96). Side two is also absolutely brilliant as well showing an immaculate field with perfect color & gloss. Side two shows minimal nicks along the outer edge with one area of porcelain loss right along the flange angle. Side two shows some minimal nicks along the outer portion of the flange but overall excellent, (Score 94). An incredibly clean, high grade example that would be tough to upgrade.
