AGS CERTIFIED #10336. DSP. Early C. 1910's Porcelain Visible Pump Paddle Sign for Red Crown Gasoline showing early script style as well as Crown graphic. This is the larger variation of the Paddle Sign produced for Red Crown. CONDITION: Side one presents well but shows moderate chipping as well as surface scratching in the inner & outer fields. The paddle portion is very good and the outer edge shows light chipping, (Score 81). Side two also presents nicely but also shows areas of field chipping as well as surface scratching and age wear at the surface. Side two shows minor wear at the paddle with chipping along the outer edge, (Score 77). Although the piece shows some areas of wear it displays well with an original patina type look to it.
