AGS CERTIFIED #10244. SSP. An incredibly scarce and well displaying example of this C. 1920's Porcelain Sign from Shell advertising Aviation Gasoline and shows early "Roxanna" style script and colors. CONDITION: Sign is overall excellent showing excellent color & gloss throughout the field with unique script style and unique Shell colors. Sign shows minor areas of light chipping in the inner and outer field as well as some minor surface scratches and faint blemish. These particular signs were crudely made so the piece shows some light areas of factory flaw in the black outlining as well as some spider webbing in the outer field. Sign shows some minimal mounting hole wear with some light areas of chips along the outer edges. A very fine displaying example of this rare piece from Shell.
