AGS CERTIFIED #10093. SSP. A very clean and excellent displaying example of this incredible piece of C. 1930's advertising from Beacon Gasoline, one of the most unique Porcelain Signs in the history of Gas & Oil advertising. Sign is advertising "Ethy" Gasoline and shows an excellent die-cut Lighthouse graphic.A product of The Caminol Company, Los Angeles, California. CONDITION: Sign is overall outstanding showing excellent color & gloss throughout the field showing excellent script with detailed graphic. Sign shows very minor areas of light surface scratch in the field as well as some minor areas of faint discoloration in the blue. Sign shows one small chip in the lower left outer field as well as some minimal chipping near the edge and mounting holes. The outer edge is very clean as well showing just minimal nicks near the mounting holes and overall the piece displays incredibly well with eye catching colors and shape. A very tough to find piece of advertising from Beacon that rarely becomes available.
