AGS CERTIFIED #10318. DSP. Sign is Maker Marked Walker & Co., Detroit. An excellent displaying example of this Porcelain Sign for Packard Automobiles advertising "Approved Service" in excellent red white & blue script colors with outstanding Packard script. CONDITION: Side one is overall outstanding, displaying excellent color and gloss throughout the field, with no visible areas of chipping and only a light amount of minor surface scratches can be observed. Some touch-ups are present at the left upper mounting hole and left upper outer edge. The outer edge of side one is in excellent condition, showing minimal wear with light touch up at the upper, (Score 89). Side two of the sign is also in excellent condition, with no areas of field chipping. Side two minor areas of low gloss in the blue color, as well as some minor surface scratching. Touch-ups are visible at the upper mounting holes and upper right edge. The remaining outer edge of side two exhibits light areas of minimal wear but overall excellent (Score 87). An outstanding displaying example of this highly sought after sign from Packard Automobiles.
