AGS CERTIFIED #10041. SST. Sign is Maker Marked A.M. & Dated 1948. An absolutely incredible example of this tin service station sign from Oilzum Motor Oils, showcasing the iconic orange and black coloring with "Oswald The Driver" graphic. The sign retains its original intact wooden frame and original wooden backing and appears to be new old stock. CONDITION: The sign displays incredible color and gloss throughout the field with only one small spot of light wear noted under the “W” of “WE,” as well as some very faint surface blemishes resulting from storage. The outer field of the sign exhibits only a couple of very minimal surface blemishes, nothing noteworthy. The original wood frame remains in outstanding condition, with its paint exhibiting excellent condition and no notable wear to the wood. An incredible and tough-to-upgrade example of this iconic piece of advertising from Oilzum Motor Oils.
