AGS CERTIFIED #10096. DSP. An incredibly rare piece of Porcelain Signage from Westcott Oil Company showing unique script style as well as Owl graphics with the slogan, "Be Owl Wise". A product of Westcott Oil Co., Boise, Idaho. CONDITION: Side one is overall outstanding showing brilliant color & gloss with only a minimal amount of light surface wear showing just one minimal nick in the "S" of Westcott. Side one shows minimal chipping at a few of the mounting holes as well as some minimal edge nicks but overall outstanding, (Score 92). Side two also shows outstanding color & gloss throughout showing no field chipping in the inner or outer field with only a minimal amount of light surface scratching. Side two shows some light chipping at the mounting holes with minimal nicks along the outer edge, (Score 90). One of the finest examples of this sign we have ever sold.
