Rare & outstanding displaying C. 1930's Service Station display for Pure Oil Company showing two glass lenses with inner lighting and neon banded in a unique metal frame. CONDITION: Lens one is overall outstanding showing brilliant color & gloss with only a minimal amount of light surface wear as well as one small paint scratch in the "R" of Pure. Lens one lights up very well and overall displays excellent, Grade 9.0+. Lens two also displays well but shows some display issues. Lens two shows one BB hit at the top center edge as well as one crack at the left in the "P" of Pure. Lens two shows some minimal paint wear in the blue and although shows some wear displays nicely, Grade 7.0. Lenses are set on their original metal band which shows a large majority of its original paint as well as hanging hooks and displays the lenses well with a great original age & patina. The inner neon band glows bright and the center lighting is in excellent working condition. A beautiful displaying center piece of scarce Service Station Signage from Pure Oil Company.
