Complete Flat Panel Globe with Original Metal Panel Style Body. Scarce and unique C. 1920's complete Globe for Pierce Pennant Gasoline showing unique colors with Pennant graphic. A product of Pierce Petroleum Corporation, St. Louis, Missouri. Lens one appears to be fired on and lens two appears to be a non-fired lens. CONDITION: Lens one is in excellent condition showing an outstanding condition field with a clean graphic. Lens one shows some minimal spots of cloudiness in the outer field but is overall excellent, Grade 8.75+. Lens two also shows excellent color throughout but showing a flake spot above the "S" of Gasoline as well as some areas of paint cracking in the field. Side two shows some minimal paint wear in the outer yellow border but overall displays very well, Grade 8.5. Lenses are mounted in their original metal body which shows a large majority of its original green paint with an outstanding patina and no notable damages. A unique and well displaying piece from Pierce Petroleum.
