Model 13-3 double action .357 Magnum revolver manufactured by Smith & Wesson and subsequently engraved by Robert Shade of Granbury, Texas. The left side of the barrel is stamped "SMITH & WESSON", with the caliber designation across the right. Left side of frame bears the Smith & Wesson trademark logo, with S&W's manufacturer information on the right. Frame, cylinder, and barrel are tastefully engraved, featuring scroll work with some light hatching on a finely chiseled background, with floral motifs present on a band at the rear of the cylinder, as well as on the underside of the trigger guard. Frame, cylinder, and barrel are blued, while the hammer and trigger have been case colored hardened. Frame is mounted with finely figured 2-piece smooth French Walnut grips that were custom made by Craig Spegel. Custom serrated rear sight and post front sight, and custom barrel crowning were added by D&L Sports of Warwick, Rhode Island. CONDITION: Extremely fine, with metal components retaining virtually all of their professionally reapplied blue finish overall. Brilliant mirror bore, exhibiting sharp and well defined rifling throughout. Custom 2-piece French Walnut grips are excellent overall. An extremely attractive, custom engraved Smith & Wesson Model 13-3.
