3000 made circa 1861-1862 with the majority issued to the 5th & 6th Ohio Cavalry. Standard late model with 5-shot .44 cylinder, checkered 2-piece walnut grips, and blued steel butt cap. Front half of gun is of other manufacture with the frame welded ahead of the trigger guard and near the hammer. CONDITION: NRA Poor. Very good bore.
