Men's vintage Wittnauer automatic diver day-date wristwatch in stainless steel. Reference No. 1001-W100, c. 1970. Case diameter 37mm. This watch features a silvered dial with day-date apertures at 6 o'clock position, applied lumed indexes and luminescent hands, a bidirectional rotating bezel, screw-down steel caseback, and a blue checkerboard inner bezel. Original Wittnauer integrated steel bracelet. Fold-over clasp and crown both barked with Wittnauer "W" logo. Length 7 1/2". Self-winding movement marked "Wittnauer Watch Co., Seventeen 17 Jewels, Unadjusted, Japan, W100, 725 N." Inner caseback marked "Wittnauer Watch Co., British Crown Colony, Hong Kong, Stainless Steel, 1001-W100." Watch is in excellent original condition with a few light scratches to the case and bracelet.
