Chinese export silver card case for Kwan Wo, c. 1890. Obverse beautifully decorated with a dragon and shield, having chrysanthemums to reverse. Kwan Wo was among the most prolific Chinese retail silversmiths, and had locations in both Canton and Hong Kong. Height 4 1/8". Width 2 5/8". Thickness 1/2". Gross weight 78.9 grams. Shield is hand engraved with the name "Ethel" in script. Card case marked with Chinese character and "KW."

Condition: (Excellent).
