Auto & Burglar side-by-side 20-bore shotgun manufactured by Ithaca Gun Co. of Ithaca, New York. The left and right sides of the receiver bear a small engraved scene of a dog above "AUTO & BURGLAR GUN/ ITHACA GUN CO. ITHACA N.Y.". Top of barrels are stamped "-- SMOKELESS POWDER STEEL --" and "MADE IN U.S.A.". Underside of frame bears a lacquered "STATE OF CALIFORNIA/ HIGHWAY PATROL/ 11930" label, with the number likely denoting an inventory number. Furniture consists of a checkered wood pistol grip and forend. Matching numbers are present on the frame, barrels, and forend. CONDITION: Metal components retain a dark mottled gray/brown patina, with traces of original finish present in protected areas. Mirror bores with some firing residue. Wood furniture exhibits numerous dings and marks from handling and storage, with some minor losses to the pistol grip that do not affect serviceability. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4 CLASSIFIED AS "ANY OTHER WEAPON".
