Originally manufactured as a standard configuration M1 Carbine at the Inland Manufacturing Division in 1945, this example was later converted and registered in a Short Barreled Rifle configuration. The receiver is stamped "U.S. CARBINE/ CAL. 30 M1" over the chamber with "INLAND DIV." stamped at the rear. Metal components are parkerized, with the receiver housed within a Choate Tool Corp. black polymer side-folding stock. Additional features include a GEMTECH HVT 7.62 birdcage flash hider, a perforated metal heat shield, as well as an RVG black polymer foregrip. CONDITION: Metal components retain large amounts of their parkerized finish, exhibiting edge wear overall with some scattered small spots of wear from use. Very bright bore, exhibiting some pitting and strong rifling throughout. Stock exhibits some superficial marks from handling and storage, but is otherwise fine. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4.
