German over/under rifle shotgun combination gun (Bockbuchsflinte) made by Carl Grundig, Dresden, Germany in 1930. Blued 27" Nitro Proofed barrels with matted sight plane, bead blade front sight, folding notch rear sight, and fitted with offset claw mounts. Full coverage game scene engraved hammerless scalloped action marked "ORIGINAL ERNST KERNER BOCK" on bottom with double triggers (front set), cocking indicators, tang safety, and floral engraved steel trigger guard. Checkered walnut round knob pistol grip stock with cheekpiece and horn buttplate. Matching checkered walnut Anson and Deeley forearm. CONDITION: 90% original barrel blue with light edge wear. Action has bright original coin finish with sharp engraving. 90% original hand rubbed finish remaining with checkering starting to flatten from use with some minor dings and scratches. Good bores and mechanics.
