Original C. 1930's Red Ripple Glass Globe Body showing a Threaded Screw Base produced by Gillco, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. CONDITION: Globe Body is in very good condition overall showing excellent bright red color throughout the entire body with clean rippling on the outer glass. The topside of the body shows some age smoothing to the ripple glass but retains excellent color. The body portion is overall excellent showing no notable glass wear other than the topside with a clean neck. Body shows some minimal paint wear just above the collar but is not noticeable unless looked under. The threaded base shows excellent color with no notable wear or chipping and shows an excellent condition copper collar that has been painted over in red. Body includes both lens bands. An excellent displaying example of this beautiful ripple body.
