Photographer, falconer, and knife maker Ricardo Velarde has been making knives since the 1990s and has studied under and worked with J.P. Moss, S.R. Johnson, and Dietmar Kessler. He credits his style as being heavily influenced by a combination of Johnson and Kessler. 4" hunter fixed blade with integral bolsters engraved with floral scrollwork by Lucie Bandikova. Blade is marked "R. Velarde" on left side and marked with Velarde's hooded falcon logo on right side. Grip scales are dyed antler. Complete with leather sheath featuring Velarde's hooded falcon logo on front. CONDITION: Excellent+, and near mint with blade bright, markings sharp, and no major signs of distress to handle. Sheath is in matching condition with tight stitching and some minor scuffs to leather.
