Circa 1890. An unattributed carved wooden cigar store trade sign in the form of a Native American. Poly Chrome paint with black face paint, which is very uncommon. Holding a snuff box under the left arm and a box of cigars in the right. PROVENANCE: Richard "Dick" Burdick collection. CONDITION: Showing multiple areas of paint loss and paint chipping. Some loss of wood, primarily to the box of cigars. Standing on a remade and painted base.
