Made by Colt Firearms in 1891, with non-factory New York-style engraving. Nickel plated and floral engraved throughout. Barrel fitted with standard blade front sight and marked with Colt 2-line address. Frame with fire blued screws with matching serial numbers observed on receiver, trigger guard, and butt. Backstrap engraved with line border pattern. Floral engraved cylinder. Fitted with period bone grips. Comes in period black box with "34" in pencil on bottom with no label. PROVENANCE: Richard "Dick" Burdick Collection CONDITION: 90% original finish with light handling marks and visible turn mark on cylinder. Most flaking near face of cylinder. Good grips with small hairline blemishes on butt; possibly cleaned at one point in time. Frosted bore with visible rifling; good mechanics with all 4 click positions. Box in fair condition with cracking on bottom. PROVENANCE: Richard "Dick" Burdick collection.
