Manufactured in 1927. Blue and case color, 6-shot fluted cylinder with a single action front sight. 2-line barrel address, "COLT'S PT. F. A. MFG. CO / HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A.". Roll die ".45 COLT" on the left side of the barrel. 2-line patent and Rampant Colt logo on the left side of the frame. Aftermarket 2-piece ivory grip panels that have been artificially aged. PROVENANCE: From the advanced collection of the esteemed and respected Dr. Jim Watson of Scottsdale, Arizona. CONDITION: The gun retains virtually all of the factory-applied blue finish with a few scratches and handling marks. Case color is fading but has vivid colors in the protected areas. Good bore with well-defined lands and grooves. Action has all 4 clicks. It locks up tight and indexes fine. Grips fit very well.
