A 1909 patent fixed-base single-guard bellbottom lantern made by the Adams & Westlake Co. "Santa Fe A" is embossed on the lid reflector, "145451" is stamped in lightly. The pivoting bail lock is intact, but missing the center piece. The clear No. 39 CNX globe is nicely embossed with the Santa Fe cross logo. The globe shows normal railroad wear and is real nice. The lantern was cleaned and overcoated long ago, and there is some light rust showing through now.
