A No. 6 double-guard fixed-base bellbottom lantern made by the Steam Gauge & Lantern Company. "D. L. & W. R. R." is embossed on the lid reflector. The brass top shows a few minor dings. The lantern shows an old restoration and overcoat, with some surface rust showing through. The plug-in fount is a Dietz replacement and has a No. 2 ratchet burner affixed. The flashed red No. 6 extended base globe is nicely embossed "D. L. & W." in serif font with average relief. Color translucence is a little dark.
