A No. 6 double-guard fixed-base bellbottom lantern made by the Steam Gauge & Lantern Company. "D. L. & W. R. R." is embossed on the lid reflector. The brass top shows a few minor dings. The lantern has surface rust overall and is very dirty. The plug-in fount is correct for this model and has a No. 1 ratchet burner affixed. The clear No. 6 extended base globe is nicely embossed "D. L. & W." in serif font with above-average relief.
