An 1889 patent No. 11 steel guard "Adams" with single wire guard and wire bottom. The bayonet fount is correct for this model and has a No. 2 ratchet burner affixed. There is a rust hole in the bottom of the fount cup. "N. Y. L . E & W. R. R." is embossed on the lid reflector. The clear No. 39 extended base globe is nicely embossed "N. Y., L. E & W. R. R." in block font and in average relief. The globe shows minor signs of RR use. The frame shows surface rust with light pitting.
