A 1913 patent Adlake Reliable flat-top wire-bottom model with double globe guard. "D&H Co." is embossed on the lid reflector. Oil fount and No. 2 long-stem ratchet burner are intact. The flashed red Corning globe is nicely embossed with the D&H logo in average relief. There is patent information embossed in the top fitter. This is a scarce, early flashed Corning-style globe. Color translucence is a little dark. Condition: 8.0, Very Good. The lantern was cleaned long ago, but shows a very light, evolving surface rust and could use a re-clean.
