A navy blue wool uniform hat with a square patent leather bill that shows some foxing. The gold and black enamel badge is in early fancy style, "The D&H Co." in a crest on a fancy embossed marquee over "STATION AGENT" in black enamel. There are gold side buttons that show an early D&H symbol. Ink stamped on the inside surface "Manufactured for the D&H by Cotrell & Leonard, Albany, NY." This is a nice early D&H uniform hat.
