An 1892 patent No. 11 steel guard "Adams" with double globe guard and wire bottom. "ERIE R R" is embossed on the lid reflector. The bayonet fount is correct for this model and has a No. 2 ratchet burner affixed. The lantern frame shows light pitting on surfaces cleaned long ago. There is a slight fold on the edge of the chimney. The signal green No. 39 extended base globe is nicely embossed "ERIE. R. R. Co." in above-average relief. A piece was broken out and has been glued back into place below the RR marking. There are several minor fitter flakes, mostly on the bottom fitter. Color translucence is good.
