A rare Klamath Machine and Locomotive Works builders plate. Klamath Machine and Locomotive Works was a manufacturer of logging equipment used in the Pacific Northwest until the mid-1960s when they merged with another company. Back of plate has rust and corrosion showing, as well as remnants of other paint colors. It is impossible to know what locomotive or piece of equipment this plate was removed from; however, it appears to be authentic because the mounting holes are drilled in the appropriate locations. Known reproductions have the mounting holes drilled near the cast "Indian Head" logo. A highly desirable and unique piece for collectors of the logging industry.

Condition: (7).
